This page explains how to delete your Peli account and the data connected to it. You do not need to install Peli or sign in to read this. If you have an account, the fastest way to delete it is inside the app, and you can also ask us by email.
When you delete your account, we remove the personal data tied to it. This includes:
We delete this data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records.
Some data is kept in a form that can no longer identify you. Research contributions we retain are reduced to fully anonymized or aggregate form. Once your research identifier is destroyed and identifying details are removed, that data cannot be linked back to you, so it is not deleted.

The primary way to delete your account is in the app:
Open Settings, then choose Delete Account.
This deletes your account and your data directly from your device. It is the fastest path and does not require you to contact us.
You do not need the app to delete your data. If you cannot access the app, or you would rather ask us, you can request deletion by email.

Send your request from the email address on your account so we can confirm it is you. We will verify your identity, delete your data, and confirm when it is done. We respond within 1 to 2 business days.
